[CSE 494]/598 Cognitive Systems and Intelligent Agents

Faculty: [Dr. Pat Langley]

This course examines how to combine ideas about knowledge representation, reasoning, problem solving, and learning -from both artificial intelligence and cognitive psychology -to construct integrated cognitive systems that operate over time in physical or simulated environments. Coursework includes reading and discussion of papers, along with programming exercises in a high-level language that embodies assumptions about the human cognitive architecture.
