Building WebWork (20060226)

Happily, there is now a Maven 2 pom in WebWork's CVS repository. Unfortunately, some dependencies are missing. No time to play with this now, so hopefully by the time I get back to it, the m2 build will Just Work. :)

/cvs/webwork
$ mvn install

Works!

Adventures in Building WebWork (20051210)

Following the instructions [here] worked fine through 'ant init' and 'ant jar'.

But 'ant dist' fails:

/cvs/webwork
$ ant dist -Dskip.ivy=true
...
test:
    [junit] Testsuite: com.opensymphony.webwork.ServletActionContextTest
    [junit] Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Time elapsed: 0.062 sec

BUILD FAILED

common.reports:

reports:

BUILD FAILED
E:\cvs\webwork\build.xml:54: Could not create task or type of type: ivy-report.

Ant could not find the task or a class this task relies upon.

<taskdef name="ivy-report" classname="fr.jayasoft.ivy.ant.IvyReport"/>

So I have no idea what it's complaining about...
