Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal




Single Serving

|| 1/2 cup || 48g || Bob's Red Mill Organic Extra Thick Rolled Oats ||
|| 1/2 cup || || unsweetened applesauce ||
|| 1/2 cup || 4 oz || water ||
|| 1 tsp || || ground cinnamon ||
|| pinch || || ground cloves ||
|| || 10 g || dried apples ||
|| 1 Tbsp || || Barlean's flax/chia/coconut ||
|| 1 tsp || 4 g || muscovado (dark brown unprocessed) sugar ||

Combine ingredients and cook on stovetop

Batch

|| 5 cups || 480g || Bob's Red Mill Organic Extra Thick Rolled Oats ||
|| 5 cups || 44 oz || unsweetened applesauce ||
|| 5 cups || 40 oz || water ||
|| 5 tsp || || ground cinnamon ||
|| 1/4 tsp || || ground cloves ||
|| || 100g || dried apples ||
|| 5 Tbsp || || Barlean's flax/chia/coconut ||
|| 10 tsp || 40g || muscovado (dark brown unprocessed) sugar ||

Packet for Travel

|| 1/2 cup || 48g || Bob's Red Mill Organic Extra Thick Rolled Oats ||
|| 1 tsp || || ground cinnamon ||
|| pinch || || ground cloves ||
|| || 17 g || dried apples ||
|| 1 Tbsp || || Barlean's flax/chia/coconut ||
|| 1 tsp || 4 g || muscovado (dark brown unprocessed) sugar ||

Combine with 1 1/4 cup (?) boiling water and let stand

TODO: figure out if this will work or if it needs quick oats. might have to add more water and microwave for longer.
